Stephen G. Johnson – A Celebration of Life service for Stephen G. Johnson, 53, of Lexington, will be held at 12:30 PM, Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the Mausoleum Chapel of Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. Pastor David Spears will officiate. A burial in Woodridge Memorial Park will follow the service. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the Mausoleum Chapel.

Stephen Johnson, known as “Porkchop” by his friends, passed away at his home November 23, 2024. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Wilbur Gene Johnson and Elaine Cooper Johnson. After graduation from Spring Valley High School, Stephen worked in his family’s business, Palmetto Paint and Body Shop. He enjoyed hunting, NASCAR and drag racing and boating. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Stephen is survived by his son, Brent Johnson (Valory); daughter, Kayla Bishop (Nicholas); sister, Kelli Lawson (Richard) of Lexington; nephew, Cooper Smith; niece, Taylor Smith, and a large and loving extended family. Stephen was predeceased by his parents.
