Lowell Vernon Paddock, age 81 of Tacoma, WA passed peacefully, surrounded by his family on December 24th, 2024. Born August 2nd, 1943, in Tacoma, WA, Lowell was the 2nd of 3 sons born to Ada & Albert Paddock. He married Barbara “Ann” Cobb in 1965 and together they had four children. He worked for the Brown & Haley Candy Co. in his earlier work years but spent most of his career as a shipfitter for Tacoma Boat and Puglia Shipbuilding, also in Tacoma. Lowell retired in 2004, freeing up his time to divulge in his outdoorsman lifestyle. He enjoyed hot rods, motorcycles, and airplanes. He was a hunter (of wild game and wild chanterelle mushrooms), he camped, golfed, flew radio control airplanes, and he had a passion for everything on or near the water - clam digging, shrimping, craw dadding, crabbing and his all-time favorite was fishing. Along with his fishing buddies, he purchased a piece of property in Sekiu, WA, near the US/Canadian border along the Salish Sea. Sekiu was his happy place. Lowell is survived by his wife Ann, his four children, Bryan, Debbie, Shelly & Brenda, his brother Toby, his 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and one more on the way. An informal Celebration of Life will be held on January 25th, 2025, at 11am in the meeting space at S&S Landscaping Services, 10219 Portland Ave E, Ste D, Tacoma, WA 98445
