Martin Glen Linde

Martin Glen Linde, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on November 2nd 2022 in Portland, Oregon. Martin was born in South Gate, California to Jenny Vail Lasher and Raymond Glen Peterson, on July 14th, 1947. Martin was later adopted to Roy William Linde who married Jenny Lasher. Martin was married to Sylvia Jane Clarke on March 31st, 1985. Martin attended University of California in Los Angeles and took part in many sports and organizations while studying economics.

Martin worked as a engineer for NASA and followed by a sub-contractor for Boeing for many years following a successful tenure in the United States Air Force. He very much enjoyed what he did for work and said, "You never work a day in your life if you enjoy what you do." Martin enjoyed playing games with family, family vacations and making people laugh and smile. Martin will be forever remembered for many "Martinism's" and always doing his best and treating anyone he came across with the utmost respect and honor while having a great sense of humor.

Martin is survived by his wife, Sylvia Linde; his children Brian Linde, Jason and Heather Linde, Jeffrey and Julie Linde, Sylene Linde and Erik Linde married to Victoria Liere. Martin is also survived by grandchildren including Kendall Linde, Camryn and Corbin Linde, and Addison and Cooper Linde. Martin is also survived by many wonderful cousins, family members, and countless friends as well as numerous dogs and cats.
