Michael "Mikey" Tracy Eldard
April 1st, 1975 - December 23rd, 2022
Michael "Mikey" Tracy Eldard was born on the first of April, 1975, in Ogden, Utah, to parents Michael Albert Eldard and Debra Ann Eldard.
As a family, they moved to Oregon when Michael was a child, where he later graduated from Tigard High School. Michael would go on to work at, and eventually become the manager of, Baxter Auto Parts in Bend, Oregon, the city he would call home for the majority of his life.
On December 23rd of 2022, Michael passed away peacefully in Tualatin, Oregon, where he was surrounded by those who loved him in life.
Michael was known for his quick wit, his vast intellect, and most of all, his iconic laugh. He never sought attention, but never failed to light up a room by cracking a joke or telling a story. Anyone in Michael's presence was put at ease by his authentic and laid-back demeanor.
An avid and formidable trivia fanatic, he competed in a local Bend trivia night, where he made many lasting connections in the community. To his family, Michael is remembered fondly as a gentle soul who loved cats, collecting cards, and watching Jeopardy. Michael is survived by his parents, his sister Michelle, his nephew Jordan, and everyone else who was touched by his influence. He will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, Michael wanted others to donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital, a charitable organization he supported throughout his life. A public service has not been scheduled, but one may take place at a later date.
