Thomas Mcnairy, of Saint Louis, Mo., passed away on 11/14/2022 in Los Angeles,Ca. Thomas was born in Saint Louis, Mo., to Herman and Georgia Mcnairy on March 1, 1933. Tom met Lola Mcnairy and had one child from this union, beloved son Orlando. Tommy attended Sumner High School and graduated with honors.
He was drafted into the United States Army while still in high school. He did a two-year tour, working under the general as his first assistant. After his honorable discharge, he went to work with his brother Herman junior at 905 liquor distribution center as an assistant manager for 10 years, then moved on to Crane Enterprises. He worked for 35 years at Crane Enterprises and retired happily in 1999. While visiting his son, he decided to move to Los Angeles in 2005 with his son and daughter-in-law.
He enjoyed church, cooking his world-famous BBQ and knee-buckling Mac and Cheese. Tommie will be remembered for being a father's father, being honest but stern, and what made him a father’s father. He worried about his kids and grandchildren every day. And prayed for them. He was part of the prayer and shut-in ministry at West Angeles Church of God In Christ. Tom had confessed his love of Jesus Christ at a young age where he was saved under the calling of the Holy Spirit, through Bishop Mason of the Church of God In Christ revival led by his most blessed Grandmother Moriah leading praise and worship. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.
