Aspen Mortuaries - Lakewood
Antonio F Rocha
March 20th, 1962 - December 12th, 2021
Antonio †œTony† Rocha, was a one of a kind man! Everyone that knew him, loved him. Tony was full of life and a genuine family man who always made time for his family and friends. With his passing, December 12, 2021, his life and legacy lives on in the people he loved and cherished the most, his family. Tony was born and raised in Downey, California with his mother Femeliza Rocha and his father Antonio Rocha. He grew up with his siblings Norma, Sylvia and Art and always made sure they were taken care of even as a young man. In his upbringing, he played the accordion and was a motocross enthusiast. Into his teenage years, he loved spending time with friends and family at the beaches in Southern California in his Volkswagen Van. He always knew how to have a good time, live on the edge and enjoy life each day. Tony had many successes throughout his life and was always proud of each accomplishment. Tony was intrigued to learn many things in his life, and once he set his mind to something, it would get achieved. Beginning with his first job at Leo Stero on Firestone Blvd as a salesman. He then went onto follow his fathers footsteps and became a second generation entrepreneur in the glass industry in Colorado. Tony opened his own glass shop, Atlas Glass & Mirror Inc. in Denver, CO in 1990. He has taught all three of his sons this trade that he is so proud of and was the best at what he did. He always gave his wife credit for making it all possible, as they worked together as a team. Tony and Anna loved investing in real estate together and flipping houses as well. Their ultimate goal in life was to build a foundation of faith in Jesus Christ for their children. Their largest investment together was their children†™s education at Faith Chritian Academy. Tony never gave up on his wife and best friend of 30 years, Anna Rocha, and pursued and loved her dearly every day of his life from the moment they met. Because of his persistence, they kept their love for one another throughout their lives. In Tony†™s adulthood, he was able to build relationships with his brother Aaron, and step siblings Rich, Ron and Renee. Tony was an avid LIFER, what he did with his life, many could never imagine. Always living life to the fullest, Tony loved going on scenic motorcycle rides, flying planes, skydiving, boating, hiking, skiing, traveling, horseback riding, RVing, shooting guns with his sons, his love and pride for his work was contagious he loved being a good man, and he LOVED spreading the word of God to literally anyone…Tony truly understood the art of living. A loving family man, Tony always had the biggest smile on his face and he loved his family wholeheartedly. He loved playing captains, making fresh juices, jamming out to music alongside his granddaughter Ellie, spending as much time with her as possible and teaching her so many things along the way. He would talk to every random stranger and find something in common with them in seconds. He knew how to live life with passion and gusto and that is something he has passed onto his five children, Matthew, Alejandro, Gabriella, Adrianna and Antonio as well as his one, beautiful granddaughter, Ellie, and will certainly be passed on to his soon to be grandson, Radu Antonio. On Sunday, December 12, 2021 we had to say goodbye to the man who lit up the entire world with joy and positivity. One thing he told his kids before he passed was, "Do not be sad when I pass away and go to heaven, just know that I have lived the best life I could have ever asked for,'' he said "Just know I will be up there dancing with the angels looking over all of you with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.† Tony survived a brain tumor, involving a major brain surgery 4 years ago that changed his life for the better. Blessed with a miracle, we were given four extra years with Tony, and couldn†™t be more grateful. He became known as the miracle man, as he shared his testimony with everyone he came across. He understood each day was a gift and never took his second chance at life for granted. Our hearts are overfilled with love from everyone Tony has impacted. Lets keep his legacy alive by living each and every day with the utmost positive †œTony Rocha† attitude and the same unconditional love for life and all those around us that he had. Always and forever he will be in our hearts. REMEMBER TONY ROCHA. www.faithevent.online.church
