Beverly Florence Marcussen, (Garrity), aged 82, of West Deptford, New Jersey passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025
LEGACY
Beverly loved to laugh, was a hard worker and was extremely loving and fiercely protective of her family. Beverly worked many different jobs throughout her life, but more than anything she was a dedicated mom and a Mommom. Beverly will forever be remembered because she was always there for her family when we needed her. The biggest lesson Beverly has left us with is that family is always the most important thing. You could find Beverly often at her needlework or completing crossword puzzles, playing cards with her grandkids and playing with her beloved dog, Rocket. Beverly was the person to seize the day and always loved to jump in the car and travel to new places. Later in life she loved being at Active Day with her girlfriends
FAMILY
Devoted mother of Christopher Roos, Marty Marcussen (Shannon), Stephen Marcussen (Christina) and the late Mark Roos (Molly). Cherished Mommom to Matthew Marcussen, Meghan, Ean, Mason and Hannah. Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Otto Marcussen.

McGuinness Funeral Homes - Woodbury
We have served the Woodbury community since 1951, when our founder, James A. McGuinness, opened our first funeral home. He knew the importance of families having a trustworthy, local funeral home to help them memorialize their lost loved ones and navigate grief. Our beautiful funeral home in Woodbury was originally built in the late 1700s, and has since been rebuilt to honor its original charm and comfortable, warm feel. Once you walk through our doors, you become family....
