James W. DeFeyter II, “Jim”, age 62, U.S. Air Force veteran, and resident of Glenns Ferry, Idaho sadly passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024. He was born October 28, 1961 in Holland, Michigan.
He fashioned himself a mountain man, self sufficient and devoted to the land and soil. He lived life on his terms, guided by his convictions and truth.
Jim is survived by his sisters Mary (Skip) Martin, Cincinnati, OH; and Susan (Michael) Flack, Kansas City, MO; nephew Charles (Kristina) Martin and niece Emily Martin, Cincinnati, OH.
He was predeceased by his parents James (Jim) and Betty De Feyter (Holland, MI).
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Glenn Rest Cemetery (11:00 a.m.) followed by a Celebration of Life at the Glenns Ferry VFW Post, 132 East 5th Avenue.
