Reba Nell Russow, 92, passed away peacefully on April 24th after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Sparta, Tennessee, Reba Nell was one of 13 children and grew up on a farm in a close-knit community. She lived a life full of adventure, traveling the world, cherishing family, and bringing joy to everyone she met. Known for her beauty, poise, and impeccable style, she was truly the “hostess with the mostess,” always welcoming others with warmth and kindness. Reba Nell was the picture of a perfect lady—always polished, perfectly matched, and carrying herself with timeless elegance. She was the beloved matriarch of her family and is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Tom, as well as five brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her children: Marvin (Vicki), Mark (Ellen), Matthew (Noelle), Diana, and Michael (Melanie); her ten grandchildren; her many great-grandchildren; and her two beloved sisters, Leta and Jean. Her family will continue her legacy of love, compassion, and strength, living out the example she set with such devotion. Reba Nell will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her unwavering strength, and her ability to exceed expectations in everything she did. Whether in the way she cared for her family, welcomed friends, or carried herself through life, she always went above and beyond. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Donations to Venice hospice house or breast cancer in honor of Reba is appreciated A Celebration of Life service will be held at Jacaranda Trace in Venice, Florida, on May 8th at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring and celebrating her extraordinary life.
