Antonio “Tony” Saldana Arias passed away peacefully at the hospital on May 12, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born October 31, 1969 to Julio Arias Mireles and Maria Nieves Saldana Marquez. He was always riding street bikes, and later motorcycles, when he was younger with his lifelong friends he grew up with.
Tony cherished time with his sons and they were his Pride and Joy. He loved them more than any father could love his sons. He was so Proud of his sons’ accomplishments such as Joel Arias graduating CSUMB recently and moving on to becoming an officer in the near future. Tony had greatly anticipated attending his graduation which was just days after he passed. His son, Alex Arias, is a hard and dependable worker who is accomplished in his trade and part of the Union, and Julian Arias, his youngest son who is moving on to 8th grade.
Tony was a Master Auto Body Painter, he loved Car Shows both Low Riders and vintage cars, and he enjoyed spending time restoring vintage cars and children’s vintage bikes. He always took his sons to the Park and Boardwalk when they were little. He never passed up an opportunity to spend time with family and friends, and he cherished his nephews and often spoke of them all with pride.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Julio Arias Mireles and Maria Nieves Saldana Marquez; his brother, Leonardo Arias; and his nephew, Louie Arias.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Toni Michele Riotutar-Arias; his Beloved sons, Alejandro Julio Arias, Joel Christian Arias and Julian Brian Arias; his sister, Consuelo Arias Vigil, Maria Nieves Arias Robles, Carmen Arias Sanches, Margarita Arias Espinosa, Maria Dolores Arias Saldana; his brother, Julio Arias; his nephews, Luis, Leonardo, Oliveros, Mauro, Angel, Omar, Manny, Julio and Daniel; and his nieces, Sandra, Magdaelena, Juliana, Maritsa, Yesenia, Yadira, Yvette, Eileen, Jeanet and Vanessa. We lost him too soon but will never forget his impact on all of our lives.
A visitation will take place for Tony on Friday, June 6th from 1pm-5pm at Healey Mortuary Chapel, 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Salinas, Ca 93905.

We Entrusted Antonio Arias's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
