Jimmie Dale Claggett, 75, husband of Anne Sell Claggett, passed away on June 11, 2025, in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 5, 1950, to the late James and Marietta Rennirt Claggett. Jim was a business owner for many years and also a corporate pilot.

 

Surviving family include his wife Anne Claggett, daughter, Tracy (Billy) Marlin, sons, Shawn (Tonya) Claggett, James "Todd" (Kelly) Claggett, his sister, Brenda (Ed) Jones, brother, Thomas (Sandra) Claggett, grandchildren, Allie (Nathan) Marshall, Andie Claggett, Abby Claggett, Will Claggett, and his brother-in-law - Louis (Cathey) Sell.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Olin Claggett.

 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, June 16, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Pastor Joe Donaldson will officiate.  Visitation will be prior to the funeral beginning at 11:00 AM.  A private family burial will be in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.

 

Serving as pall bearers will be Eric Noble, Todd Claggett, Shawn Claggett, Nathan Marshall, Bobby Doolin, Billy Marlin and Eric McFarland. 

 

A celebration of life event for friends and family will be held at 100 Brannon Gardens, Nicholasville, KY at 2pm. Parking is only allowed on Grey Oak Lane. Food and drinks will be provided.
