She has fought the good fight, she has finished her course and she has kept the faith. Now she is in the presence of the Lord, and has received her crown of righteousness.

Carol Ann (Griffith) Hellem, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior, on Monday, June 9th, 2025.
Born on September 1, 1941, in California to Roger and Margaret Griffith, she moved with her family to Colorado Springs in 1955. She attended Palmer High School, where she began building a lifetime of friendships and cherished memories.
On November 1, 1969, she married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Hellem. Together they built a beautiful life and raised four children: Larry (wife, Cathy) Hellem, Monica (Hellem) Bryant, Rob (wife, Aimee) Hellem, and Jennifer (husband, Jason) Sharpe. Her family was her greatest joy.
She and Bob worked side by side in their family-owned auto mechanic shop, where she served faithfully as the bookkeeper for many years. Later in life, her deep faith led her to attend and graduate from Charis Bible College. She devoted her heart and time serving on the prayer line at Andrew Wommack Ministries, ministering to countless individuals through prayer and encouragement.
She was a born-again Christian whose life was a living testimony to her unwavering love for Jesus. She treasured time spent with family and found joy in gardening, traveling, crocheting, and creatively transforming her surroundings — famously spray-painting just about anything white that didn’t move! She also loved taking her grandchildren bowling and playing Phase 10 with them.
She loved her faith, her family, and her country with passion and devotion.
She is survived by her husband, four children, nine grandchildren — Ashley (Daniel) Bennett, Brittany Hellem, Cassie Hellem, Emily (Kevin) Scheffler, Brandon Hellem, Natalie (Jordan) Cheatham-McGowan, Benjamin Hellem, Noah Hellem, and Jack Sharpe — and five great-grandchildren — Olivia, Joshua, James, and Jonathan Bennett, and Megan Scheffler — with two more great-grandchildren expected by year’s end. She is also survived by her sister, Joan Palmer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Margaret Griffith, and her beloved sister, June Bishop.
She was loved deeply and will be missed beyond measure by all who knew her.
A celebration of her life will be held Charis Christian Center. 10285 Federal Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80908 on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to Andrew Wommack Ministries.
