Carol Lynn Lee (Frey), 79, passed away peacefully and free of pain on July 8, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and compassion. Born on June 8, 1946, Carol dedicated her life to uplifting others—first through beauty, then through healing.

Carol worked as a cosmetologist for over 40 years, touching lives not only with her skill but with her warmth, strength, and listening ear. In the second half of her life, she found a new calling as a teacher of integrated health and wellness guiding many on paths toward balance, self-care, and inner peace.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Gordon Lee, and her dear sisters, Mary Lecker and Pam J. Kinsey. Though she mourned their loss deeply, Carol remained a pillar of strength and love for her family.

She is survived by her devoted sister, Cindy Sparks, and daughters, Carol Millard (Mike), Lisa Lee and Nicole Briscoe (Jason); her cherished grandchildren, Kaycie Klausing (Justin), Abigail Martin (Andrew), Taylor Millard, Jack Rubertus (Emilie), Payton Steward (Brennan), Brody Briscoe (Isabella), and Betsy Briscoe; and her adored great-grandchildren, Nora Klausing, Henry Klausing, James Martin, Kate Martin, Samuel Martin and Kaylum Briscoe.

Carol’s life was defined by compassion, resilience, faith and an open heart. She believed in nurturing the mind, body, and spirit—and lived those values every day. Whether offering guidance as a teacher or comfort as a mother and grandmother, her presence was a gift.

A private burial, alongside her beloved husband Ronald Lee, will be held in the fall in Springfield, Ohio.

Her memory lives on in every life she touched. She believed good leaders don’t seek the spotlight but are willing to step into and shine when needed.  Carol will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
