Donna (Barnes) Peck

With heavy hearts, we share that Donna (Barnes) Peck passed away peacefully at home on July 5, 2025. Donna was a devoted wife, a proud and loving mother, a grandmother who gave her whole heart, and a loyal friend. Her love for her family was deep and unwavering. She was always proud of us, and we were always proud to be loved by her.

Born in Saratoga Springs, NY, to William Barnes and Doris Joubert, Donna spent many years working at Ballston Knitting Mill, where she was known for her dedication, strong work ethic, and friendly spirit. After moving to South Carolina, Donna embraced life fully — whether playing cards with friends, four-wheeling around with friends, and out on the boat or simply finding joy in every moment, she made sure fun was always close by.

She is survived by her mother Doris, loving husband, Burton Peck; her sons, Christopher Reome (Christy) and Charles Reome (Heather Rose); and her stepdaughter, Courtney Bolton (William). She was the cherished grandmother of Kayleigh, Katelyn, Kylie, Khloe, Charles, and Sophia Reome, and Rylie and Cory Bolton.

Donna is also survived by her brothers, David and William Barnes; mother-in-law, Ellen Peck; sisters-in-law, Vera Ruth Peck, Lori Keith (David), and Kathleen Fellows; brothers-in-law, Amos Peck (Allison), Joe Hughes, David Hughes, and Shawn Hughes; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was predeceased by her father, William Barnes; her first husband, Christopher Reome Sr.; her sisters, Linda Miller and Cathy Barnes; and her father-in-law, Robert Peck.

To know Donna was to be loved by her. Her kindness, strength, and loyalty left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and has found peace.
