Frances Angelina LeClere

Frances Angelina LeClere, 89, passed away peacefully in her home to be with our Lord on July 11, 2025 in Loveland, Colorado. She was born October 27, 1935 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Michael and Catherine (Bealin) Aloise.

After high school Frances worked for, among other companies, the Stetson Hat Company as a keypunch and verifier operator.

In 1955 she met a sailor, whose ship was in the Philadelphia shipyard undergoing repairs. They became friends and after his discharge from the US Navy in 1957 they became engaged and were married in St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Philadelphia on May 17, 1958. At that time, her husband was working for IBM. They began their married life in Sommerville, Ma. Over the next 34 years they lived in Massachusetts, Kentucky, Colorado and Arizona.

Beginning in grade school Frances volunteered as an aide in Vacation Bible school which led her to teach in religious education classes for 20 years in various parishes. Many other volunteer activities included Eucharistic Minister to the home bound, writing a monthly letter to the home bound for 21 years, Welcoming Committee, volunteer income tax preparation, Interfaith Hospitality Network, CBC and Library Aide.

Frances enjoyed oil painting, writing, crocheting, camping, and traveling to new places such as Canada, Mexico, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, Medjugorie, the Holyland, and Indonesia.

Frances is survived by the love of her life Ralph, a son Mark (Dessy) of Evans, CO, three daughters, Cathleen of Lyons, TX, Suzette (Kenton) of Loveland, CO, and Christianne of Haxtun, CO, six grandchildren (Caitlin, Kate, Grace, Joshuandika, Amanda, and Johnathan) and on great-granddaughter, Madison. She is also survived by a nephew, a niece, and several cousins.

Viewing will be held Wednesday July 16, 2025 from 4:00-7:00pm at Viegut Funeral Home. Rosary will be held Thursday July 17, 2025 at 11:00am at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Parish with Mass following at 12:00pm. A reception will follow at the church. Burial will be held at Loveland Burial Park following services at the church.
