Richard A. Staples, a beloved husband, father, and stepfather, passed away just shy of his 81st birthday due to complications from pneumonia. A proud Army veteran, Richard carried the values of service, resilience, and integrity throughout his life.

Known for his boundless energy and creative spirit, Richard was rarely still for long. Whether tinkering in the garage or diving into his passion for painting, he brought his humor into the lives of all who knew him. His artwork reflected his joyful curiosity and his appreciation for beauty in everyday moments.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Staples; his daughter, Shannon Ball and son-in-law Michael Ball, grandsons Blake Ball and Alec Ball; and his stepson, Scott Staples. His warmth, humor, and unwavering zest for life will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

A private memorial will be held by the family to celebrate Richard’s life and legacy.
