Kenneth D. McGill, known by many as “Pete,” passed away peacefully at his home in Colorado Springs on July 7, 2025, at the age of 84.
About Pete
Born in Phoenix, Arizona on April 21, 1941, Pete lived a life defined by hard work, quiet generosity, and strong faith. He spent his career as a Roofer and Handyman, running his own small business, Honey-Do-Handyman, where he was the go-to guy for all things home repair. If something was broken, Pete could fix it—and usually with a smile.
He also enjoyed creating stained glass crosses, which he often gave as meaningful gifts to friends in his church community. His care touched many lives.
Faith & Community
Pete was a devoted member of The Baptist Lighthouse church, where his faith and friendships formed a deep and steady foundation in his life. His quiet service and spiritual strength were a blessing to many.
Family
Pete is survived by his brother, Jim McGill; his two daughters, Cristal McGill and Theresa McGill; and his two grandsons, Adisson McGill-Telmosse’ and Oliver Wood-Button. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, and faith.
Celebration of Life
A memorial service will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 4280 Hopeful Dr Colorado Springs, Colorado 80917 August 9th, 2025, 10 am. All who knew Pete are welcome to attend and share memories.
