Beatrice Marie Anderson, aged 97, of Spanaway, Washington, passed away peacefully onSaturday, July 19, 2025. She was a beloved mother, stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother,

great-great-grandmother, and friend, known for her strong faith, loving heart, and unwavering

commitment to her family and community.Born on April 1, 1928, in Cooperstown, North Dakota, to Frank A. Zimprich and Clara Pfeifer,Beatrice lived a life guided by her deep Catholic faith and a belief in fairness and kindness. Sheinstilled these values in her family, encouraging them to follow the rules and lead by example. Ahard-working and strong-willed woman, Beatrice was always ready with a quick smile, a sharpsense of humor, and a thoughtful comeback. She was game to try most things and had a knackfor making everyone feel included, especially during Christmas, when she would purchase extragifts for unexpected guests.Beatrice was a dedicated gardener, transforming her yard into a neighborhood focal point thatreflected her care and pride. In her late 80s, she served as treasurer for her neighborhood HOAfor eight years, leading with integrity and heavily encouraging others to do the same. In herhonor, her neighborhood erected a bench to celebrate “Miss Bea’s” enduring impact. For thelast twenty years, she was an active member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church inEatonville, where her faith and willingness to help others shone brightly.Beatrice is survived by her five children: James F. Ressler (Ginna), Kathleen A. Hurley (Don),Judith R. Trummert, Barbara E. Cummings (Lynn), and Dennis J. Ressler (Lori); her threestepsons: Glenn Anderson (Judy), Ron Anderson (Susan), and Larry Anderson; as well as 27grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. She waspredeceased by her husband, Harold L. Anderson, two stepdaughters, Karen Graybeal andTammy Chelone, and grandson Tyler Chelone.A service will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Our Lady of Good Counsel CatholicChurch, 229 Antonie Ave N, Eatonville, WA. A short viewing will take place from 11:00 AM to11:30 AM, followed by a rosary at 12:00 PM and a funeral mass at 1:00 PM. A reception andluncheon will follow in the church basement. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 8,2025, at 1:00 PM at Greenacres Cemetery, 5700 Northwest Dr, Ferndale, WA. In lieu of flowers,the family requests donations be made to Saint Anne’s Altar Society c/o Our Lady of GoodCounsel at 10425 – 187th Street E, Puyallup, WA.Beatrice’s legacy of love, faith, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
