Robert "Bob" R. Medina

Robert R. (Bob) Medina, born June 15, 19.9, in the majestic San Luis Valley of Colorado, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, in San Tan Valley, Arizona.  

A devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandpa, and everyone's favorite Uncle Bob, he leaves behind a legacy of warmth, wit, and generosity.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Priscilla Medina; his children, Merna Yarbro (William "Bill" Yarbro, Robert Steven Medina, William "Willie" Medina; and his adored granddaughter, Kari Beth Dannenberg (Joshua "J" Dannenberg). He was predeceased by his sister, Wanda Romero; his brothers, Ruben Medina and Julius Medina; and his parents, Viola Medina and Ruben Medina Sr. 

An accomplished engineer, skilled pilot, and respected FAA Chief, Bob proudly served with the Federal Aviation Administration, where his career took him and his family from New Mexico to South Dakota, Utah and back to New Mexico, where he retired as a distinguished leader. After a brief retirement in Colorado, Bob settled in San Tan Called to be close to family, especially his great-grandsons, Aiden and Roman. A self-proclaimed "greatest fisherman that ever lived", Bob's quick wit, infectious humor, and playful pranks brought joy to countless lives. His warmth, kindness, and guidance left an indelible mark on all who knew him. 

A proud member of the Shriners and Knights of Columbus, Bob's charitable heart was evident in his generous, yet private, contributions to causes close to his heart. Funeral and Memorial service details are yet to be determined.

Bob Medina was an extraordinary man whose legacy of knowledge, love, and laughter will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
