Irma Neuner (Röder), 90, of Greeley, Colorado, formerly of New York, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025.

Born February 9, 1935, in Merkendorf, Germany, to Karl and Babette (Hutzler) Röder, Irma married Josef Neuner on October 15, 1955, at US Army Warner Kaserne in Bamberg, Germany. She emigrated to the U.S. in 1956 and took great pride in becoming an American citizen.

Before immigrating, Irma attended secretarial school in Bamberg, Germany and worked for a dairy and chocolate company.

She is survived by her daughters: Margerita Horvath (New York), Irene Schrowang (New York), and Irma Jones (Germany); grandchildren Walter Horvath, Zachary Schrowang, James Schrowang, AJ Jones, and Jake Jones; brother Karl Heinz Röder (Colorado); and sister Margit May (California).

Irma was preceded in death by her husband, Josef Neuner; sisters Maria Röder, Erika Crowder, and Helga Camp.

An adventurous spirit, she drove cross-country twice and cherished time with her grandchildren.

Services will be private.
