Karen Elaine Evers
January 13th, 1952 - June 9th, 2025
Karen Elaine Evers, age 73, passed away on June 9,2025. Born in Great Bend KS, Karen was the middle child of Vernon and Eldora Evers. Karen had one sister Diann Voos, and one brother Randy Evers.
Throughout her life Karen touched the hearts of many with her unwavering spiritual strength and dedication. She first married Joe Seiberlich to whom she had one daughter, April Seiberlich. Karen found immense joy in her role as a mother, and later as a grandmother. Ben Grandpre and Alexis Grandpre, her only two grandchildren, brought her happiness and fulfillment beyond measure.
Later in life Karen married Jerry Totman. They shared many years of marriage together.
Karen’s third marriage was to Jim Bollinger. She loved that Jim had two sons, Jeremiah Bollinger and Ryan Bollinger. Karen and Jim shared many years of marriage together.
In her younger years Karen loved to play the drums and twirl a baton. She attended community college in Kansas, along with graduating from the Denver Paralegal Institute. As a college professor she taught at Eastern Idaho Technical College. She loved to research, read, write, and teach others her skills. Karen loved to sing, she had a beautiful alto voice. Karen loved animals of all kinds, but especially her shih tzus. One phrase Karen used all the time was Carpe Diem (seize the day). Every day is a gift, and she knew it. Through different churches she regularly brought food to families in need.
Karen will be remembered for her love of Jesus Christ, her kind and giving heart, and inner strength that will never be matched.
A memorial service for Karen will be held fall 2025, details are to be determined.
