Richard L Robertson, Sr
April 16th, 1943 - August 4th, 2025
Richard L. Robertson Sr., 82, of Largo passed away August 4, 2025 at home. He was born in Beech Grove, Indiana and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in the late 1960s. Richard was a U.S. Army veteran. In his career after the Army he was a retired truck driver for Shell Oil Company where he also trained new drivers and taught safety courses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Mary Robertson, and brother and sister-in-law Charles and Roberta Schmidt. Richard is survived by his son Richard Robertson Jr., his daughter Rebecca Zeigler (husband Clay), and four grandchildren: Alexandria Robertson, Logan Zeigler, Braden Zeigler, and Brandon Robertson. Richard is also survived by his sister Dana Phillips (Nashville, IN).
Richard's greatest joy in life was camping in a tent and sitting around a beautiful campfire. We will cherish those memories.
