Lesley Howard Endee

1962 – 2025

Born in 1962 and raised in the salty air of Belmar, New Jersey, Lesley Howard Endee came into the world with a sharp wit, champagne taste, and a love for the beach.

The daughter of Donald and Catherine Howard (both predeceased), Lesley was unapologetically herself from the start. She was adored—and occasionally tormented—as the baby of her family, and is survived by her siblings: Donald Howard, Catherine Howard, Alison Seeds (Robert), and her “brother from another mother,” Douglas Endee.

She married her high school sweetheart, Dennis Endee, at just 18 years old—proving that soulmates do exist. Over their 44 delightful years of marriage (which still doesn’t feel like enough time), they raised four beautiful children: Jonathan (Erin), Christen (Ryan), Lauren (Guy), and Zachary. Each of them carries forward her fierce spirit, her sense of humor, her impeccable taste in music, and her gift for telling it like it is.

Lesley had no interest in boardrooms or briefcases—her greatest achievements were built in the everyday moments of raising her family and building a life alongside her favorite person, Dennis. She loved babies, never missed the latest Bravo housewives drama, and always had a good rant ready when the mood struck. She was hilarious, always honest, and adored by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Her lot in life—one she embraced fully—was to be surrounded by handsome, rambunctious boys. Her six grandsons—Aidan, Benjamin, Maxwell, Cole, Grady, and Shepherd—brought joy, noise, and sticky fingerprints to her world, and she loved every wild minute of it.

She was fiery, funny, and full of life all of her days. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Catherine Howard, and her in-laws, Walter and Maureen Endee. Her legacy lives on in the love she poured into her family and the stories they’ll be laughing about for years to come. She’d want to be remembered with a laugh, a sweet treat, and maybe a little gossip—and that’s exactly what we’ll do.

Lesley passed away on August 4, 2025. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Farley Funeral Home in North Port, Florida.
