Heather Ruth Santos
August 2, 1976-August 7,2025
49 years old
It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Heather Ruth Santos, beloved wife, daughter, sister, stepmother, godmother, mimi, and friend, on August 7th 2025 in Florida. She was 49 years old.
Born on August 2nd 1976 in Stoughton Massachusetts, Heather grew up in Raynham Massachusetts where she pursued a career in dentistry and the service industry. She was especially fond of her time worked at Harry's Bar and Grille, Magnolias on the Bay, and South Beach Bar & Grille where customers came from far and wide simply to enjoy her presence.
Those who knew Heather will remember her kindness, warmth, generosity, loyalty, smile, and her beautiful soul. She was full of life and laughter, her smile was infectious and would light up any room she walked into like a bright ray of sunshine. She adored meeting new people and making them feel like they had known her forever in an instant. She took any opportunity to travel even if it was just for a day! She loved traveling with Paul multiple times a year especially to their happy places Aruba, Turks and Caicos, and Punta Cana. Her love for Paul and her fur babies was undeniable as she would take any opportunity to share a picture or a story of them. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by Paul V Santos, her loving husband of 25 years. She was the daughter of Patricia Ruane MacKenzie and late William Frazier MacKenzie. She also leaves behind her mother and father in-law Ann Marie and Victor Santos; her siblings William MacKenzie, Kathleen Scheck and husband Robert, her twin sister Heidi Mobark and husband Scott, and Godchild Mackenzie Still; her sister in-laws Donna Latinville and Gus, Sheri and her late husband Gregory Santos, and brother in-laws Kevin and Linda Santos, and Victor Santos; stepdaughters Stacey Lee and Trinica Santos, Kristin and Jen Hughes, and Ashley Santos; grandchildren Cerilene, Everitt, twins Benjamin and Sawyer, and Dillon; her late fur babies Rex and Jake and current fur babies Colt and Cooper; her dear friends Nicole Silvia and Bobby Spearin, Linsey and Matt Jackson, Danielle Correira and many more.
Celebrations of life will be held in both Florida and Massachusetts at later dates where friends and family are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Heather by donating to a local animal shelter of your choice.
Her love, laughter, and light will be forever missed but never forgotten.
