Joel Wayne Litaker, 59, Kernersville, NC - Fighting until the very end, Joel passed away on August 5, 2025 surrounded by his kids, after a long battle with kidney failure.

Joel was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Preston Litaker and Connie Sue Wall.

Joel was survived by his children, Nehemiah "Clay", Dustin, Carson, Hunter and Kylie Litaker.

The family will receive friends and family at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home, 213 W. Mountain St. Kernersville NC 27284 on August 16th from 1:00PM to 2:00PM. A memorial service will begin at 2:00PM with Memorial Clergy officiating.
