Christopher Joseph Gilmore
April 10th, 1962 - July 24th, 2025
Christopher Joseph Gilmore, 63 of Puyallup, WA passed away after a battle with leukemia on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Gilmore and Dorothy Rice, and son, William Gilmore. He is survived by his wife, Seong Gilmore of Puyallup, WA; sister, Kelly Gilmore of Blossvale, NY; son, David Gilmore and fiancé Yadira of Roy, WA; daughters Veronica Veronda of Burkburnett, TX and Lynn Veronda of Tacoma, WA; and his loving grandchildren, Emma, Christopher and Christian.
Born with a servant’s heart, Christopher proudly served in the United States Army for 29 years retiring as Lieutenant Colonel and continued his dedicated service as the Director for the Soldier for Life Army Transition Assistance Program on Joint Base Lewis McChord. Christopher was a well-respected individual whose kindness, integrity and generosity profoundly touched all who were privileged to know him. He was a humble man with a gentle spirit and unwavering dedication who inspired those around him to have compassion towards others. Christopher will leave all whose lives he graced with a legacy of goodwill and hope.
