Ned Earl Plunkett, IV

Ned Earl Plunkett IV, 38 of Columbia, South Carolina passed away on August 4, 2025.

Ned was born in Columbia, SC where he lived, worked and raised his son. He was known for his carefree love of life, friends and family. Ned had a laugh and smile one could not forget. He was a gentleman and an artist. He will be missed by those who loved and cherished the time spent together.

Ned is survived by his wife, Laura Ashely Harrelson and son, Colt Mason Plunkett, his parents, Donna Netecke Spigner (Stuart) and Ned E. Plunkett III (June), sister, Erin Plunkett, brother, Bobby Plunkett, niece, Alexis Butler, and nephews, Brayden Butler, Conner Plunkett, Maverick Plunkett and Easton Plunkett.

A celebration of Ned’s life will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 1:00 - 5:00 pm at 302 Senate, 302 Senate Street, Columbia, SC 29201. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be made to Prisma Health Hospice.
