Mary Ann Dodge
April 8th, 1942 - August 8th, 2025
Mary Ann Dodge, 83, of Mountain Home, was born April 8, 1942, to William and Leona Frazier Wells, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 8, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mountain Home. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home.
Mary was born in Stockton, Kansas, and grew up in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. In 1958, she met the love of her life, Ron, on a blind date. The two were married on June 15, 1960, and began their life together in Mountain Home, where they raised their three children: Wesly (Teresa) and their children Alexandria (Kevin), Samantha (Patrick), and Nicholas (Taylor); Rebecca and her children, Jessica (Morgan) and Andrew (Aprile); and Jonathan (Thadea), and his children Jacob (Kegan) and Jaron. Mary was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren, all residing in Mountain Home.
Mary loved the Lord from a young age, and shortly after joining the Dodge family, she became a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she remained a faithful member for the rest of her life. Her faith was the foundation of her life and the guiding light in all she did.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ron; her parents; three brothers; and one sister. She is survived by her brother, William (Margie); her children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews, and many friends. Mary was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished “Meme,” dear sister, and faithful friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Rost Funeral Home

Our funeral home opened in 2005 when Jerry and Janette Rost purchased the business. We’ve continued to grow along with Mountain Home. Jerry’s career began more than fifty years ago in Boise, and along the way, he acquired an 1897 horse-drawn funeral carriage, which we proudly display in our facility....
