Linda Jane Peel, 83, widow of Joe C. Peel passed away while under hospice care at home on Friday, August 15, 2025. A native of Versailles, she was born on November 30, 1941 to the late George and Hannah McGohon Drury. Mrs. Peel was a homemaker. She is survived by her sons, Barry Peel and John (Karen) Peel, both of Nicholasville; hus daughter, Deanna (Steve) Taylor, Nicholasville; grandson, John R. (Faith) Peel, Jr.; and great grandchildren, Emily, Maddie and John R. Peel III. Mrs. Peel requested no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
