Carol Ann Hanson-Grue
June 23rd, 1944 - August 14th, 2025
Carole Ann Hanson-Grue, (nee Curtis) 81 of Elkton, FL, formerly of North St. Paul, MN passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, at her brother’s home in New Richmond, WI.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Dean Grue. Parents Ben and Lorriane Curtis. And brothers James Curtis and Robert Curtis. She is survived by her brother Gary Curtis (Cheryl) of New Richmond, WI. Children; Christine (John) Toupal of Renville, MN, Lonnie Hanson of Watford City, SD, and Scott (Kirsten) Hanson of St. Augustine, FL. Six grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. And her beloved Yorkies, Fiona and Allie.
Carole graduated from North High School in 1962, received her Associates Degree from Orlando College in 1994, and her Bachelor of Arts from Metropolitan State University in 1996.
Carole loved to travel and see new places, including, Ireland, Germany and the Panama Canal. She was an avid reader and loved doing puzzles. But her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.
Services will be held Friday, August 22 at 11:00am, with visitation at 10:00am at Sandberg Funeral Home, 2593 East 7th Ave, North St. Paul, MN, 55109. Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
