Austin "Gator" Michael Snyder
October 8th, 1997 - August 16th, 2025
In Loving Memory of
Austin Michael “Gator” Snyder
1998 – 2025
Austin Michael Snyder, lovingly known as “Gator,” passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 27.
Born into a close-knit family, Austin was the beloved husband of Alonnah Anderson, cherished son of Andrea and Robert Snyder, and devoted brother to Alyssa Snyder. He was the adored grandson of Micky and Susie Snyder, and Don and Ceretha LaFrancois.
Austin worked proudly as a metal framer in his family’s business, Snyder Metal Framing, alongside his father. Outside of work, he found joy in fishing, playing pool, and listening to music—a passion that filled his days and brought him so much happiness.
Austin’s friends and family will remember him for his kind and generous spirit. He had a heart that could never say “no” to anyone in need, always putting others before himself. His warmth, laughter, and love of music made every room brighter, and his ability to make friends wherever he went was truly a gift.
He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service to honor Austin’s life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Heirs-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 E Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL 34471.
