Dwight Stanley Owens, Jr.

On August 10, 2025, our hearts were shattered as we said goodbye to Dwight Stanley Owens Jr., age 37, of El Mirage, Arizona — a devoted father, loving husband, caring brother, cherished friend, and valued coworker.

Born on March 21, 1988, Dwight was the beloved son of Valerie Harris and Dwight Owens Sr. He grew up alongside his brothers Clifford Deed, Charles Paige III, and Kenneth Dunn, as well as siblings on his father’s side, who all held a special place in his life.

Dwight’s life was not without challenges, but he met them with courage, resilience, and determination to rise above. After spending time in prison, Dwight dedicated himself to transformation and building a better future. He completed his education, earned his CDL license, got off parole, and worked tirelessly to create a stable and loving home for his family. He saved diligently, moved into a two-story home, and proudly brought his family from California to Arizona — showing just how determined and dedicated he was to creating a brighter path.

As a full-time CDL truck driver, Dwight worked hard to provide for his family. He was a man who put others first, always giving his all for his wife, children, and everyone fortunate enough to know him. Whether it was lending a hand, sharing a laugh, or offering words of encouragement, Dwight made sure people felt cared for and never alone.

Dwight leaves behind his loving wife, Tammy Owens, and his five beautiful children, who were his greatest pride and joy. His legacy is one of strength, perseverance, and unconditional love.

A memorial viewing will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Regency Mortuary, 9850 W. Thunderbird Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351.
