February 26, 1942 – August 18, 2025
Alice, 83, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of West Homestead, PA, went to be with her husband, Andrew, on August 18, 2025 surrounded by her loving children. She retired as the secretary to the Assistant District Attorney of Allegheny County after over twenty years. Alice was an active member of the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church and the Council of Catholic Women (CCW) and was a Eucharistic Minister.
Alice was proceeded in death by her husband of almost 64 years, Andrew Leopold, her brothers Joseph Stanicar, Daniel Stanicar, and Robert Stanicar. She is survived by her brother David (Pat) Stanicar, her sister Margaret (William) Ransom, her children Steven (Leslie), Susan Knepp, Andrew (Alicia), and Jeffrey (Kimberly). She was also a proud grandmother of ten, a great-grandmother of fifteen, and a great-great grandmother of two.
Funeral mass of Christian burial will be held at the Holy Family Church, in St. Petersburg, Fl on September 6th, 2025, the time to be determined. Ashes will be interred at the All Saints (Braddock) Cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA on a date to be determined.
