Virginia Roehr
March 18th, 1938 - August 17th, 2025
Virginia “Ginny” Roehr passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, with courage and grace after a 5 year battle with Alzheimer’s. Ginny was born in 1938 in North Bergen, NJ. In 1957 she married her high school sweetheart; Bill: with whom she had 3 children; Bill, Richard and Ginger.
Bill and Ginny travelled the world, living 10 of those years overseas. In addition to traveling, Ginny loved to cook, paint, host parties and spoil her grandchildren.
Ginny never met a stranger and was known for her warm smile, outgoing personality and generosity to others. She will be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Preceded in death by her son Richard and husband of 55 years; Ginny is survived by her children, Bill and wife Robin; Ginger and husband Lee; grandchildren Zachary (wife) Joelle; Lauren (husband) Taylor; Brenden(wife) Brianne; Trevor(wife) Vanessa and great grandchildren William and Adeline.
Visitation will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, 32162 at 10:00am on August 25,2025 with internment at the Highlands Memorial Gardens immediately following.
