Steven Van Tran, 19, of Charlotte, North Carolina. He passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, at the Atrium Pineville Hospital.   

 

Steven was born and raised in Charlotte, N.C. He was a beloved son and brother. Steven was born with cerebral palsy. He faced many challenges throughout his life, but that never stopped him. No matter what life threw at him, he always had a positive outlook on life and a smile on his face. Steven radiated light and brought joy to our lives. He left this world too soon, and his presence will forever remain with us.

 

Steven was a cherished son of Hong Nguyen and Huong Nguyen. He was a beloved brother to 11 siblings. He is survived by his loving brothers and sisters: Linda Rourk, Lisa Nguyen, Jimmy Tran, Lina Nguyen, Cathy Nguyen, Johnny Tran, Tommy Tran, Cindy Nguyen, Jacob Tran (his twin) and Ethan Tran. He is preceded by his brother Tony Tran, who passed away in 2014.

 

Visitation Services will be held on Wednesday , Aug. 27, 2025 from 10am-1pm, Buddhist Service at 12pm at Tribute & Tallent Funerals & Cremation, 1937  N. Sharon Amity Rd., Charlotte, NC 28205.
