John "Johnny" Reed was born on December 26, 1948. He passed away on August 21, 2025. John was a Miami, Florida native, He was a very successful power boat racing driver, pilot, and business owner. From Johnny's fiberglass to his garage, he repaired and painted boats/planes like a master artist. John survived many numerous boat flips, engine failures at 5,000 feet, to being shot at; Johnny lived a life that only happens in the movies.
John never had children of his own, but he leaves behind many nieces, nephews, his wife, stepdaughter and many good friends whose lives he had such a special impact on.
