Mrs. Janet Robbins Valentine, 78, of Kernersville, a devoted mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025 surrounded by family. Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mabel (Sell) Robbins and wife of 56 years to the late David M. Valentine.
Janet was known for her strength, kindness, and unconditional love. A homemaker at heart, she dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a warm and welcoming home. She was most proud of her children, Michelle and Kimberly, who were truly the center of her world.
Janet cherished time spent with her loved ones - whether enjoying time at the lake house, relaxing on beach trips, shopping together, watching movies, or sharing family dinners. She had a gift for making ordinary moments feel special and was the steady, loving presence her family could always count on.
Janet is survived by her daughters, Michelle McBride and husband, William, and Kimberly Parsons and husband, Ricky; her four granddaughters, Cindy Ford (Joe), Amber McBride, Lauren McBride, and Brooke McBride (Kelsie); her nephews, Joey Robbins (Ashley) and Jason Robbins (Christy); many cousins and special friends; and her beloved grand-dog, Colt.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Robbins.
The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service, 213 W. Mountain St., Kernersville NC 27284 on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.
