Nancy Ann Snyder

Nancy Ann Snyder, age 70, of Goodyear, Arizona, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, with her husband of 41 years and her dear friend Lola at her side when she took her last breath.

Nancy was born on June 23, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, to Donald and Francine Spitzer. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, Gerritt J. Snyder; her children, Mike Stickell and wife Shelli, Gerritt Snyder, and Scott Snyder and wife Nicole; her cherished grandchildren, Giovanni, Zoey, Teddy, Brandon, Hannah, and Katie; and her adored great-grandchildren, Murphy, Matthew, Charlie, and Tatum. She is also survived by her sister, Carole Stone, and husband Jeff, and life long friend Lola Laws and husband Tim.

Throughout her career, Nancy worked as an office manager for many companies, where she was valued for her dedication and organization. She also supported her husband’s community service, helping write the monthly newsletter for Cub Scout Pack 51 in Bartlett, Illinois, and later for American Legion Post 57.

Nancy was loved by many for her warmth, humor, and lively spirit. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time at casinos, where she celebrated many jackpot wins. One of her favorite adventures was a month-and-a-half-long road trip with her husband, during which they visited 37 casinos across five states, ending their journey in Las Vegas. Nancy’s life was filled with love, laughter, and adventure. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
