Leroy Frank Sylvester

Leroy Frank Sylvester, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, in Warner Robins, Georgia. Born on July 7, 1956, in Luling, Louisiana, Leroy was known for his unwavering love for family and friends, embodying the qualities of loyalty, kindness, humor, and curiosity throughout his life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Christ Gospel Church of Warner Robins. Visitation will commence at 10:00 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM. Leroy will be reunited with loved ones in eternal rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens following the service. In this time of sorrow, the family invites all who knew and loved Leroy Frank Sylvester to join in honoring his memory and to celebrate a life filled with love and laughter. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Sylvester Sr. and Gertrude Smith Sylvester, sister, Cora Small and brother, Walter Sylvester, Jr.He is survived by his four cherished daughters: Marnita Jackson, Shendell Jefferson, Tammie Porter and Lisa Porter, brothers: James Sylvester (Charlene), Joseph Sylvester (Camesisha); sisters: sisters: Nora Lee Richardson (Reginald), Geraldine West, Mildred Davis, Earline Crawford (James), Beverly Williams; step sister, Lynette Wallace; and a vibrant lineage of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with a host of extended family members whose lives he touched deeply.

Leroy's passion for life was evident in the warmth he shared with those around him. He was a source of joy and laughter, leaving behind fond memories that will forever resonate with his family and friends. He was the embodiment of strength and compassion, finding fulfillment in the moments spent holding his family dear.
