Andre Johnathan Bledsoe

Andre Johnathan Bledsoe, 70, husband of Helga Kennedy, passed away on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 surrounded by his immediate family. Dre was born in Williamsburg, KY on April 23rd, 1955 to the late Andrew and Maude Jean Smoot Cotton Bledsoe. He has served in the US Army and later retired as an Aircraft Mechanic after spending the majority of his life overseas. He was a kid at heart, loved anything new and shiny and was a nerd for gadgets, cars, watches, tools, helicopters, and any kind of RC. Dre was loved by everyone that he came across in his life.
In addition to his wife Helga, he is survived by his daughter, Sibylle Moore; his sister, Karen Jean Cotton McDaniel; his brothers, Alphonso Cornell “Bo” Cotton III, Anthony Stuart “Tony” Bledsoe, and Kerwin Allen "Scott" Bledsoe; and their spouses; his grandchildren KeeShawn Meiser, RayShawn Meiser, DeVorice Moore and Alecia Moore; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 6th, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, 3000 Versailles Rd in Frankfort KY 40601 with Fred Sewell officiating. Flowers and cards may be sent to the Clark Legacy Center.
