Judy Susan Brobst

Judy Susan Brobst passed away on August 20, 2025, in Jackson, CA, at the age of 66. She was born on July 30, 1959, in San Mateo, CA, to Edward and Gwendolyn (Johnson) Maranta.

Known for her infectious laugh, witty banter, and playful competitive spirit, especially during game nights with her family, she brought warmth and energy to every room. Her life was a testament to quiet strength, deep compassion, and the gentle grace of making others feel seen. She cherished time in her garden, creating beauty whenever inspiration struck. An enthusiastic lover of cleaning and a master of home-cooked meals, she found joy in everyday life. Trips to California's Central Coast with her family were among her happiest times. Her deep bond with God was the foundation of her life and a steady source of peace and guidance.

Judy is survived by her husband of 38 years, Bob; children, Ryan (Lasha) Brobst of South Pittsburg, TN; Andrea (Drew) Nenow of Templeton, CA; grandchildren, Kailee, Ryann, Nora, Eden; Mother, Gwendolyn Maranta; brother, Paul (Claudia) Maranta; sister, Janet (Ed) Fraga; many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at Cazadd Cellars, located at 9949 Hwy 88 in Jackson, CA, on Wednesday, September 10th, at 10:00 a.m. Anyone who knew and loved Judy is welcome to come.
