Stanley Darwin Delducco
February 16th, 1952 - August 5th, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce Stanley Darwin Delducco passed away on August 5, 2025, in Seattle, Washington due to liver disease. He was loved by friends and family alike and will be dearly missed by many. A service will be held in his honor on September 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Funeral Alternatives of Washington – Tumwater located on 455 North Street SE, Tumwater, Washington 98501 and will be a finger-food potluck.
Born on February 16, 1952, to his parents Darwin Russell Delducco and Herta Elsa Buschmann Delducco in Sandpoint, Idaho. Though he grew up in Olympia, attending Olympia High School before graduating in the class of 1970. He would go on to attend the University of Washington and get his degrees in math and physics. After graduating college, Stanley would start his career in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Marine Mammal Lab in Seattle and greatly enjoyed his time there. Shortly after, Stanley would move on to work for Boeing where he dedicated 34 years there as a computer programmer.
Even after he completed his schooling, Stanley was always looking to learn about new things. He enjoyed research of all kinds, especially learning about rare coins from all over the world. An avid Bridge player, Stanley was a master at the game, and you always wanted him on your team because if you were playing against him, you had better be prepared to lose! To relax he enjoyed taking care of his plants and loved listening to rock and roll.
Stanley will be missed by his sisters Carla Delducco and Phyllis Finet; his nephews Seth Finet and Barry Johnson; and his niece Kelli Finet (Kofi). He is preceded in death by his brother John Delducco who passed in 2015; as well as his parents Darwin and Herta Delducco who passed in 2011.
The family requests all memorial donations made in Stanleys honor be sent to GRuB or Garden-Raised Bounty located at 2016 Elliott Ave NW, Olympia WA 98502.
A beloved brother, uncle, and friend, his memory will never be forgotten in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
