Paul Robert Clark, of Tacoma, WA, passed away peacefully in the early evening of Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the age of 74. Born March 19, 1951, to Robert and Nellie Clark, Paul grew up with a love for learning and creativity that carried through his life.

Following in his father’s footsteps, he became an electrician by trade. With characteristic determination, he later taught himself computer programming, leading to a career at Microsoft and, ultimately, with Pierce County.

Paul’s passions were as vibrant as his personality. He was a devoted fan of The Beatles and Bruce Lee, and he cherished animals, especially dogs and horses. His hobbies reflected his adventurous and artistic spirit—playing guitar, horseback riding, taking long walks with his beloved wolf dogs, directing local films, and contributing film editing skills to area artists. He especially loved playing the role of Santa each Christmas season, posing for playful photos with local families and their pets.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nellie Clark. He is lovingly remembered by his sister, Diana; his children, Aaron, Leslie, and Jamie; and his granddaughters, Haylee and Grace. His legacy of creativity, kindness, and humor will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
