Carol Ann Stuczynski
August 27th, 1941 - August 23rd, 2025
It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend, Carol Ann Stuczynski, who was born on August 27, 1941, and passed away peacefully at home on August 23, 2025, after a long illness. She was surrounded by the love of her family, as she had been throughout her life.
Carol shared 62 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Edmund Robert Stuczynski, and together they built a life centered on love, faith, laughter, and family. She was the proud mother of six children: Edmund Stuczynski (Theresa); Sharon Peterson (Jason); Eric Stuczynski (Sheryl); Jennifer Pasick (George); Sean Stuczynski (Elizabeth); Sara Stuczynski, each of whom carry forward her values of family, compassion, faith, and humor. Carol was also a deeply cherished grandmother to 13 grandchildren, who were the joy of her later years. She poured her heart into them, never missing an opportunity to visit them, share stories, or remind them how deeply they were loved.
Carol’s home was always open to family, friends, and even strangers who quickly became friends. Her gift of hospitality was unmatched—her kitchen table overflowing with food, drink, music, warmth, and laughter. She was known for cooking thousands of meals through the years, often with groceries bought in abundance, as if always preparing for a joyful crowd. She never missed an opportunity to volunteer at her children’s schools, as PTA president in 3 states, class mom, or chaperone. She was deeply proud of Carol’s Corner, where she fought to have a traffic light installed for the safety of her children’s school.
Beyond her devotion to family, Carol lived a life rich with accomplishment and fun. She found joy in traveling to the Bahamas, a good cocktail, a lively polka, daily Wheel of Fortune binges, and a fruitful trip to the casino. She was the constant source of family updates and “news coordinator”, and the stockpiler of pantry items.
Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through both joyful moments and difficult seasons. She was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, singing in the choir, and a member of the Columbiettes.
Carol will be deeply missed not only by her husband, children, and grandchildren, but also by her extended family, dear friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, humor, and selflessness will be carried forward in the countless lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anne Langowski, and is also survived by her brother, Dr. John Langowski (Joan), and sister, Emeline Ahrens (Ronald), and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Rosary in Land O’ Lakes, Florida, on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 10:30am. Friends and family may gather at Loyless Funeral Home in Land O’ Lakes, Florida, for visitation on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 6-8pm.
Though we grieve her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is now free from suffering and embraced by God’s eternal peace. Her legacy of love, faith, family, and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
