Thomas "Tom" Christian Lane
February 11th, 1942 - August 15th, 2025
Thomas (Tom) Christian Lane, age 83, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025.
Tom was born on February 11, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated in 1959 from Bishop Rosecrans High School in Zanesville, Ohio. Following his graduation, Tom proudly served in the United States Air Force, earning several accolades during his service. He then enjoyed a career of over 30 years as a Lineman with Public Service Company of Colorado (now known as Xcel Energy). He was also a Volunteer Firefighter for many years with the Westminster Fire Department, as well as enjoying his time as an amateur radio operator, with the call letters of K0VKM. Tom is survived by his three children, Christine (Steve) Douglass of Longmont, Colorado; Thomas Lane and his partner Summer Stallings of Erie, Colorado; and Joseph (Alissa) Lane of Erie, Colorado; his former wife, Kathleen Lane of Arvada, Colorado; and six grandchildren, Annie and Jack Douglass of Longmont, Colorado; Maggie, Nora and Benjamin Lane of Erie, Colorado; and Lucy Lane of Erie, Colorado. Services will take place at a later date.
