Mario Stefano Bogni

July 18, 1944 – August 27, 2025  It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mario Stefano Bogni, who departed this life on August 27, 2025, at the age of 81, after a prolonged illness. He passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family.   

Born on July 18th, 1944, in Varese, Italy, Mario later made his home in Surgoinsville, Tennessee, where he became a respected member of the community and a successful entrepreneur. He was the proud owner and operator of B&N Tool and Die and Quality Plastic Products, where he devoted decades of hard work and innovation to his craft.  Known for his integrity, precision, and unwavering dedication, Mario was a teacher at heart, and his passion was passing on his knowledge and skills to his work family.   One of his favorite pastimes was playing golf on weekends with his long-time, dear devoted friend Tony Borghetti.    Mario was above all a devoted family man.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Caterina; his sons Fabio Bogni (wife Jennifer) and Marco Bogni (wife Sarah); and his treasured grandchildren, Alessandra, Luca, and Leo Bogni. He also leaves behind extended family, work family, and a wide circle of friends who will deeply miss his warm heart, steady presence, and quiet wisdom.    

His legacy is one of hard work, love, and enduring family values. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit lives on in the lives he touched and the family he cherished.   

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday August 30, 2025 at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church. A funeral mass will follow at 12 p.m.
