In Loving Memory of
Joseph Paul Wilder passed while resting peacefully on the morning of August 23, 2025.
Joseph was born on October 19, 1940 in Towanda, PA to Carl W Wilder and Marjory V King. Joe was a graduate of Corning Free Academy, in Corning, NY.
Joe will be remembered as a fun loving Christian man, often found swimming with the fishes in the pond near his home in Melbourne Florida. Joe was very proud to have served his country in the US Army. He could be heard signing along with Johnny Cash at family get togethers. And on Saturdays he could be found cheering for Florida State University Seminole football teams.
He is survived by his four children: Yvonne "Bess" Kelly, Elizabeth "JBear" Wilder, Carl D Wilder, Jess J Wilder and his six grandchildren: Kyle Kelly, Mariah Kelly, Nicole Kelly, Rayden Wilder, Yasmine Wilder, Ryder Wilder and his wife of forty seven years, Joan A Wilder.
In lieu of flowers one can make donations in Joe's memory to Life Point Church of Palm Bay, Florida. Donations can be sent to the church or dropped in a basket that will be available at the celebration.
