Cipriano "Jesse" Jesse Gonzales
January 16th, 1950 - August 22nd, 2025
Cipriano "Jesse" Gonzales of Jackson, CA, passed away on August 22 at the age of 75.
He was a native of Amador County, born in Jackson in 1950, and had lived in the county his entire life. Jesse worked at Georgia Pacific in the plywood division and as a custom cabinet
maker in his younger days but spent 38 years in waste management. He was an outdoorsman, most known for his quick wit, great smile, and fierce love of family. Jesse is survived by his life partner of 28 years, Carol Balowski. Jesse is survived by his two children, Linda Gonzales of Jackson, CA, and Richard
Gonzales of Seattle, WA, and his grandchildren Jessica Gonzales of Jackson, Cipi Gonzales, and Frank Gonzales of Seattle. He is also survived by his siblings: Mary Giuffre, Gloria Salisbury, Ruby Hill, Emma
Gonzales, Herman Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, and Eddie Gonzales; and by many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Evans, and Paul Gonzales. Carol's daughter Gabrielle Dehoff, with husband Jason, grandson Bodie, and Carol's son
Lance Goodbye and grandson Liam Goodbye will also greatly miss Jesse. Jesse wished to be cremated and wanted no service. A viewing was held on September 4 at Daneri's Mortuary, which handled the arrangements.
