Christine Hilton McMurray, 99, widow of Adrian McMurray, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. A native of Versailles, she was born on April 22, 1926 to the late James Augusta and Madelyne Stewart Hilton. She was a factory worker for Texas Instruments and a member of Glens Creek Baptist Church. Christine was an avid reader of her Bible and she loved doing floral design.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Sue Cammack (Dennis), Frankfort; her sons, James Ernest McMurray “Ernie” (Cherie), Versailles and Adrian Stephen McMurray “Steve”, Lebanon; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Olson Wayne McMurray; her sister, Clara Wallace; and her brother, William Hilton.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
