Linda Lee McKim

Linda Lee McKim, born on November 25, 1935, in Olympia, Washington, peacefully departed this life on August 18, 2025. A devoted mother, sister, and friend, Linda touched the hearts of everyone who knew her with her warm spirit and generous nature.

Linda was a proud graduate of Boistfort High School, class of 1953, and furthered her education at Brigham Young University. On November 28, 1954, she married her beloved husband, David E. McKim, in a ceremony held in Olympia. Their union was a testament to love and partnership that lasted many years until his passing.

Throughout her life, Linda dedicated herself to her family and community. She served as a Legal Secretary for the Mayor of Olympia and later as an Administrative Assistant for South Puget Sound Community College. Her professionalism was matched only by her kindness, loyalty, and an unwavering support for those around her.

Linda cherished her roles as a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, David Curtis; daughters, Linda Elaine Green and Jeanette M. McKim-Beloit; brothers, Steve Ikerd and Vince Ikerd; sister, Kirsty Gifford; along with eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who will forever hold her memory dear. She was preceded in death by her husband, David, and her daughter, Dianna L. Corey.

An avid bowler, gardener, and flower arranger, Linda found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her creativity flourished in her gardens, which were a vibrant reflection of her love for nature and beauty.

The family invites you to join them in celebrating Linda's life at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 1116 Yew Ave NE, Olympia, WA. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered as a beacon of love, kindness, and strength.
